On Saturday night, Jim and I went with Kelcey, Chris, and Trang out to Kwamagxaki Township to hear the NMMU Choir sing. We had heard them before on campus and wanted to hear them one more time! Nuala and Monalisa joined us at the hall.
This is a fantastic ensemble that sings both Western and African choral music. (I must admit that Western music is starting to sound slightly boring to me.) I prefer the movements and harmonies - often on contrasting beats - that add richness to the African music.
