Modeling Careers Launched

In "Ubu and the Truth Commission," I wrote about our students' acting debuts.  Well, it turns out that they have become models as well.  The Mamas with whom we've become friends put together a new brochure to advertise their (fledgling) entrepreneurial ventures at Red Location Backpackers in New Brighton township.   The brochure is "hot off the press" this week.

I knew that Shannon Bassett was going to be in it.  When her Mom was here, Kathy took some pictures of Shannon for the Mamas to use to illustrate someone staying at their backpackers.

It will be sad to say good-bye to the Mamas!

What I didn't know is that they also used candid shots taken primarily by Bradley over the four months we have been here.  So, not only is Shannon in the new brochure, but so are Kelcey, Danika, Matt, Molly K, Patrick, Sarah, Andrew, Ryan F, Shaz and Melissa!

We are also utilizing the Mamas' cooperative by buying eighty-five "bunny chows" from them to serve at tomorrow's farewell party at House of Resurrection.  (I love benefitting two places with one purchase!)
